"Management" has a million meanings. In the management of development organisations, participatory approaches play an important role. They need to be strengthened if the goal of empowerment - on many levels - is to be achieved. Many efforts go into increasing effectiveness and efficiency. Actors in development are expected to be accountable to their target groups and their donors, in terms of performance, impact and finance.
On these issues, FAKT has provided consulting services to international funding partners and implementing agencies based in the global North, and churches and to organisations in the South and East.
