Brot für die Welt, together with HEKS-EPER and Brot für alle has developed the tool “Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks” (PACDR) and published a new version in the year 2020. At the same time, BfdW has increased its support partners in the sector of climate change adaptation.
To enhance the uptake of the PACDR tool despite the restrictions for trainings due to COVID 19, partner organizations and interested staff members, the idea of an online introduction to the tool was born. In a modular approach, a presentation and an introduction for the PACDR were developed and supplemented with didactic elements (such as Q&A Sessions to the practical implementation, interactions).

- Development of an introduction into the PACDR (“appetizer”) which was developed together with BfdW and HEKS
- Development of an online moderation concept for an “appetizer” workshop for internal and external target groups
- Development of the introduction of the PACDR modules for the deepening for interested application- and multiplication-organizations
- Co-implementation of 3 online country workshops in Indonesia, Tanzania, Southern Africa together with consultants for climate change adaptation at BfdW.
