Capacity Development of Master-Trainers in Methods of CBET

In the course of the reform of vocational education and training systems, competence-based systems of vocational education and training (CBET) are being established in many countries of sub-Saharan Africa. Comprehensive capacity development of vocational training personnel is a key success factor for the effective implementation of these approaches. On behalf of GIZ, a team of German and African experts designed and conducted advanced training courses for master trainers from Kenya and Botswana in both countries. The implementation of the newly acquired methodical knowledge was supported by a blended-learning concept.
