Communication in Evaluation: FAKT Consult Opens Anniversary Workshop Series

FAKT Consult’s webinar series marking its 40th anniversary has kicked off with the first of four events, which explored the role of communication in evaluation.

Christine Lottje and Martin Quack set the stage for a discussion by showing why communication matters at every stage of the evaluation process and in relation to a wide range of stakeholders and actors.

Building on this, Susanne Friess, Regine Parkes and film producer Ralph Weihermann turned to the topic of impact communication, drawing on examples from FAKT’s extensive experience to showcase approaches already used in ongoing projects, explore their potential and reflect on new formats for communicating impact.

The discussion that followed brought together a wealth of practical experience. Evaluators from FAKT’s network contributed valuable insights, fresh ideas, and reflections drawn from their professional evaluation experience. The webinar provided an opportunity to learn and exchange experience and emphasised the importance of communication for effective evaluation practice.
