Development of Digital Monitoring App for GIZ Project in DR Congo

FAKT provides conceptual and technical support to the GIZ team of the project in charge of the project Integrated economic development in the mining sector in DR Congo. In cooperation with GIZ, we are developing the project’s monitoring system, including a mobile- and web application for data collection and analysis. The team and partners will use the apps to continuously document information regarding the implementation of project activities and to measure the project’s overall impact. Moreover, the apps analyse the data collected, thus generating reports and statistics. As part of these consulting services, we provide on-site support for further data collection using questionnaires and data analysis to the GIZ team. A central cloud-hosted database, which is accessed through a REST-API, provides data to both applications. The apps comply with the EU-DSGVO and all recorded data is exchanged in encrypted form with the central database.
