Evaluation of the project on “Integral Rural Development in Eight African Countries through INADES Formation”

Created in 1975, the African Institute for Economic and Social Development (INADES Formation) is an international association present in ten African countries (Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya and Togo, DR Congo, Rwanda, Tanzania, Chad) and based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

Misereor supports the work of accompanying development initiatives in rural areas of Africa aimed at increasing food security through sustainable agricultural practices and marketing of agricultural products. The project evaluation aims to further deepen the operational aspects of INADES Formation’s work in sustainable agriculture, including the development of agroecological inputs and multi-use agroforestry, mechanisms for the recognition of peasant seeds as well as measures for adaptation to climate change and the building of a social movement to influence policies and to promote change of thinking.
