Conflict Prevention and Management in the Sahel Region
The overall objective of the consultancy services is to support the GIZ FREXUS project ‘Improving Climate Security and Resilience in a Fragile Context through the Water-Energy-Food Security Nexus’ in strengthening local, regional and national capacities to peacefully manage conflicts over natural resources in the Sahel region (Mali, Chad and Niger).
This includes the development and implementation of a strategy and capacity building measures for non-violent conflict prevention and management. The main tasks are:
